You may recall, that at the beginning 2014, we posed the question ‘How will we measure future success of our endeavours in science and innovation?’ We note that progress has been made on the political front in terms of increased commitment for advancing the agenda for science, technology and innovation. But, we still need to demonstrate that increased investments in developing human resources and modernizing infrastructure (universities, laboratories) or funding of research and innovation programmes can yield economic and social benefits in developing countries.
During this year changes are forthcoming for the K4D website and newsletter and we shall keep you posted on these new developments. As always, we welcome and value your feedback and look forward to your continued engagement.
